Re: Chrysis gr. ignita - Italia

... it does not agree with ignita A, longula , and certainly not with corusca & ruddii , which leaves angustula, schencki, ignita B, impressa and comta .. and I dont have any experience at all with the latter two. I will stop rambling now ;) Hopefully someone with much more experience will answer ...

Re: Chrysis elegans group - Samos, Greece

Hi Alex, be careful, I did not mention comta , which belongs to the ignita group, but one species from the comparata group. I quickly checked your pictures, and I would identify your first male as Chrysis handlirschi Mocsáry, 1889. 286-377.gif 369: analis 370: provenceana 371: verna ...

Re: Chrysis elegans group - Samos, Greece

Thanks for your quick reply :thanks: Well, I guess the apical dentition on these comta group males mark the line where you should continue in couplet 22 to 35 in the key... This is the other male, the genital capsule looks like the other one, colouration is different ...

Chrysis comta Forster, 1853 - Italia

Chrysis mysticalis Linsenmaier, 1959 - Sardegna - Italia

Re: Chrysis sp (gr ignita?) - Toscana - Italy
