Chrysura radians?

Hello, what species could that be? I found in the park of Zollverein, Essen, Northrhinewestfalia, Germany, on Daucus carota in the near of a "insect hotel". Regards, Goldi 032kl_EZollverein__23.07.2022.jpg 028kl_EZollverein__23.07.2022.jpg 014kl_EZollverein__23.07.2022.jpg 022kl_EZollverei...

the second Chrysura sp. is Chrysura radians.

I have no idea of what is in your latest post ...

Re: French Chrysura

Thanks Paolo,

That was the simple punctuation on the T2 that made me doubt, but it's true that i found a male of Chrysura radians with typical double punctuation on T2 on this spot.

Re: French Chrysura

Hi Erwann,

I agree with Thibault.
This is a male of Chrysura radians (Harris): the genital capsule is typical for this species, as well as the shape of metanotum, with a large antero-median fovea.

Cheers

Re: French Chrysura

Hello Erwann ! I found a male of Chrysura simplex in last may, the sternites are entirely red and the aedeagus is more elongated. It looks very similar to my males of Chrysura radians , even for the aedeagus, or maybe it could be Chrysura austriaca ? I don't have males ...
