Cleptes semiauratus - North France

Hello,

Could you help me with this Chrysididae found on a leaf of a Tree covered by honeydew, in a public garden, the 25 July 2018, in North of France, Oxelaere ?
I think she could be a Cleptes sp. but I'm not sure which species

Re: Cleptes pallipes ?

Yes, this is Cleptes semiauratus. Cleptes pallipes is just another name for the same species. Cleptes semiauratus was the first name for the species, so the name Cleptes pallipes should not to be used.

There has been a lot of confusion around this, but it should now stay like this.

Cleptes pallipes ? --> Cleptes semiauratus

From my garden in Glostrup, Denmark.
Henrik from Hymis "think it is a female Cleptes pallipes".
In that case it will be á new species for Danmark.
Can you confirm this id.
Cheers Thomas
