Hmm, can this really be a Chrysis sp in the hydropica -group? (at least it says it's the hydropica -group in Linsenmaiers original description)? The apical pit row is not that deeply set, it's not very short and convexly shaped, the hairs ...

Hi!

Because of the elongate shape of the head, I suppose that this could be another endemic species:
Chrysis hohmanni Linsenmaier.
It belongs to the Chrysis pulchella group and its apical margin of the last tergite is toothless, similarly to Chrysura

Chrysis hohmanni ? Fuerteventura

Would it be possible to ID the species I found in Betancuria (Fuerteventura) on 04-02-2019? The individual was feeding on some Euphorbia plant. Its body length was about 10 mm.
