How large is this species?
I bet it's a very large one, around 10 mm.

I think it's Chrysura refulgens, as far as I know C.trimaculata is not distributed in S France.

I think it is Chrysura sp, maybe refulgens male (postscutellum angular), but do you have an estimation of the size, refulgens is a big species (10-13 mm) and I never viewed some species (sulcata, varicornis, male trimaculata but I think it is too late for trimaculata).

Til now I haven't seen a C. dichroa this season.
But today I found a new locality for C. trimaculata.

Hi all in the new season

Last week I was visited my place, where is the Chrysura dichroa, trimaculata and cuprea. In these date I saw only Chrysura dichroa and new species for this place Chrysis terminata. Welcome the new season :

For me here, the postscutellum is angulate : Chrysura sp (radians group).

With this postscutellum, I think of several possibilities : varicornis, sulcata, refulgens, trimaculata (& rufiventris?).
