to me it looks like a pseudomalus violaceus.
Especially the slightly rounded back seems to fit with this species(depending on the picture).

You ID is correct: it's a female of Pseudomalus violaceus
And your pictures are highly appreciated, because this female is laying eggs on aphids,
which will be later brought into the host nest by a Crabronid wasp.

Your specimen belongs to Omalus aeneus (Fabricius)
and can be recognized by the unpunctured mesonotum.
