Hi everyone! Yes, it belongs to the genus Chrysura . But the head is entirely red, while in C. dichroa (and the related species) ... frons (i.e. purpureifrons ). In Eastern Europe and Turkey there are 3 species: cuprea (with the subspecies demelti in Turkey), oraniensis and declinanalis . Unfortunately ...

Hi !!! when I have been this year in Turkey, found also some Chrysididae, less than ten specimens (I was lucky to find the "best" weather and temperature :doh: ). this is first of them (only this specimen :( ), collected in Turkey: Istanbul: Çatalca: Çiftlik (near) - 13.V.2011 Is possible ...
