male Hedychrum sp., small ones tend to be H. niemelai but both species varies a lot in size

I would like to know if an id is possible. Maby a Hedychrum spec.?

size: smaller than e.g. H. niemelai/nobile female

Have you considered a male of Hedychrum niemelai or nobile? Hedychridium roseum has a distinctive non-metallic appearance of the abdomen but yours looks quite shiny/metallic. But wait for an expert to reply. I’m only just beginning to learn a few of these and could very easily be wrong!

Female of either H. niemelai or nobile. Cannot separate them without a specimen and microscope! But I am no expert, just someone who likes to watch and photograph chrysidids. Perhaps one of the experts will confirm.
