Hi Cosmin,

female of Hedychrum, possibly nobile (Scopoli) or niemelai Linsenmaier.

You have to examine the last sternite (the last visibile segment of the abdomen in ventral view) and compare the shape with these:

Hi,

With two other Chrysididae.

Collected on flowers of Achillea in Cazanele Mari reserv (in Iron Gate Natural Park) from Romania. Only this female .

Hi Josef,

probably Hedychrum niemelai Linsenmaier, 1959.
To be sure we should examine the shape of the last sternite, but it's almost impossible with a living specimen. :D

Ok, This time I cannot help you. Mocsary described Hedychrum semiviolaceum from Hungary and Austria. I don't know the male of this ... except by Moczar (1964), how gave a key to separate semiviolaceum from niemelai . It would be better to examine more specimens under the microscope ... ...
