ma è un effetto ottico oppure il margine laterale distale del T2 è azzurro come il T3?
Negli esemplari di Chrysis splendidula che ho raccolto dalle mie parti non ho mai trovato una colorazione del genere

Yes, it's Chrysis splendidula group

but I'll tell you more, it's a male of Chrysis splendidula, based on the shape of the second tergite: the margin is turned up and without sculpture.

Thanks Alex, it was a very robust, broad species. And indeed I compared it with C. analis from Italy and it looks totally different. Thanks for the suggestion of C. splendidula!

I found this one, today 10/7/13 on Daucus carota. Rather large, about 6-7mm, I'm not sure. Maybe Chrysis analis?
