Recentemente ho iniziato uno studio di revisione dei crisidi italiani.
Rileggendo i testi originali ed esaminado i tipi conservati nei principali musei europei ho scoperto una lunga serie di errori nomenclatoriali, che riguardano numerose specie.

Anche l'analisi di collezioni recenti, ad esempio la collezione Linsenmaier, ha evidenziato una lunga lista di errori nell'interpretazione dei tipi da parte di vari autori.

Per questo motivo, prima di iniziare a discutere sui vari problemi, ritengo utile ricordare che esiste disponibile on-line il Codice Internazionale di Nomenclatura Zoologica. Si può scaricare gratuitamente nelle due lingue ufficiali: inglese e francese.

hey what do you mean by insenmaier collection, has highlighted a long list of errors in the interpretation of types by various authors.

For several reasons, Linsenmaier could not examine all Chrysididae types in European and Soviet museums, therefore there are some incorrect interpretations in his volumes (see also Arens' revisions of Chrysis dichroa group and Greek Holopyga).

However, he checked types from the most important collections (Paris, Budapest, Stockholm, London) and most of his identifications are reliable.

If you have doubts on some ID, you can write to me or on the forum.
