Updating Fauna Europaea I

Hello,

a new updated version of www.faunaeur.org is not planned for 2013, at least for the next months.

Since the new data will be not available on faunaeur for a long time, I here list the new European taxa described in 2012 and some other taxa found in literature and not listed before.

New species described in 2012:

Chrysis alcudiae Reder & Arens, 2012. Spain: Balearic Is.

Hedychridium goloensis Strumia, 2012. Italy (Tuscany, Sardinia), France (Corse), Portugal.

The total number of European taxa is now increased to 613 valid taxa (135 listed as subspecies).
