Nice pictures!
Its a female of either Hedychrum nobile or H. niemelai, the character used to separate the species is the medial flange on the 3rd sternite, which of cousre is hard to photograph in living specimens.
Size can also be used, to some extent, how large was it in millimeters?

The wasp was not too small, I guess 8 mm.

In that case its very likely H. nobile, as I dont think H. niemelai gets that big.
