From my garden in Glostrup, Denmark.
Henrik from Hymis "think it is a female Cleptes pallipes".
In that case it will be á new species for Danmark.
Can you confirm this id.
Cheers Thomas

Hi Thomas,

first of all congratulations for the pictures, they are really beautiful!

Then ... Henrik is right...
I would ID your specimen as Cleptes pallipes too, until few months ago.
This identification is based on the most modern key written by Moczar (2001), but some recent findings on type material show that it has another name, and that's not the first record published for Denmark.
We just submitted an article explaining what happened in the European literature with the name of this species and other related species.
Please wait a little bit for the correct name, just the time to see the publication accepted or printed.

Many thanks
Paolo

Kannst du mir mal die Uhrzeit sagen? tidspunktet på dagen > Time of day of the recording

Wie war die Luftfeuchtigkeit? fugtighed? (?) > humidity?

Liebe Grüße aus Flensburg.

Hej Horst.

Vh. Thomas

Yes, this is Cleptes semiauratus. Cleptes pallipes is just another name for the same species. Cleptes semiauratus was the first name for the species, so the name Cleptes pallipes should not to be used.

There has been a lot of confusion around this, but it should now stay like this.
