Chrysis emarginatula Spinola, 1808 - Spain

Postby Jose Ignacio » 10 Mar 2012 21:45

Hello,
in this case I am not sure even of the genus. I doubt if it is a Chrysura or maybe something close to... Chrysis emarginatula ? :?

Soria, Spain. 23/6/ 2011.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hola Jose,

:ok:

you're right! It's the male of Chrysis emarginatula Spinola, 1808.

Very nice pictures, as usual ;-)

Cheers

Thanks a lot Paolo !! :D

Sometimes, also I have seen females and I could recognize them better, but was not sure about the sex.

Best regards.
