Hi friends :D
I caught this wasp in Vrčin, near Belgrade, Serbia. This wasp was flying on the meadow with Lamium purpureum and Stellaria media, next to a forest (with Robinia pseudoacacia). Possibly Chrysura sp? Date: March 3th 2016
Thanks in advance.
Greetings!

Yes its a Chrysura sp., but I cannot help you further, hopefully Paolo will be able to give a species ID.
It could be something around C. hirsuta (if it has dark brown/black hairs on the posteriolateral edges of tergite 2, which it doesnt look like it has on the pictures), but there are lots of other species in the Balkans that I'm unfamiliar with I'm afraid.

Hi Mihailo,

it's a male of Chrysura trimaculata, diagnostic are: general habitus, punctuation on T2, metanotum sharply elevated medially, white hairs on T3, red sternites with large black spots. Female T3 is long and ovoid, but in male is short and truncate.

Cheers
Paolo
