Hedychridium roseum has a nonmetallic, carneol-like abdomen, this one is metallic. This is a Holopyga sp., for example the medial vein is characteristically bent in the middle, in Hedychridium (and Hedychrum) it is weakly and evenly arched along its whole length.

My guess would be a female Holopyga generosa, but I'm far from certain.

Hallo Alex, Thank you for your statement.

In my region is only Holopyga generosa (RANGER 1853) present.

If the images are so right?

Horst

Good, then you even get it to species! :D

For the venation, see this figure from our key (there is a legend and species names at the very bottom, if you scroll down)

Edit: sometimes links to zookeys takes me to their homepage instead of to an article, but opening the link again gives the correct page.
