The nearby from my house is one fantastic place on the Chrysididae. On this place is only one dry tree. And I watched on this tree 15 species of Chrysididae.
On this tree was watching Chrysis fasciata, fulgida, gracillima, graelssi, ignita, impressa, indigotea, iris, longula, marginata, mediadentata, mediata,
pseudobrevitarsis, solida and Trychrisis cyanea...This is fantastic tree.

Here are photos of some of them...

Ciao ;)

Hi,
fantastic!
I would like to have such a tree in my home area.
And, of course, you list some species which I really want to see some day, like C. iris, which is very rare in our region. By the way: great pictures!
All the best Paul

Hi Paul,
Thank you very much!
Yes, it is nice place. But I have worried, that this tree will soon fall.
The Ch.iris is very nice and rare species really. I am trying to find next very nice species Chrysis equestris. But I have not luck and I can not find this species...
Ciao

radians or austriaca group :

austriaca group : female withe genae vertical & parallel ; male with normal (cylindric) flagellomeres

radians group (= pustulosa in Linsenmaier 1959) : head convergent to the clypeus ; male with flagellomeres rounded bellow
+ many species (except hirsuta + some other species in south of Europe) : metanotum +/- angulate posteriorly. (view in profile).
hirsuta : black setae on metasoma, radians & trimaculata white setae)

Hi Lukas,
the last one could be C. inaequalis in my opinion.
But I don't know if there are similar species around in your region.
All the best Paul

Do you have a photo of the face or the profil : inaequalis has this habitus + 2 tooths bellow the mesopleuron & a very big facial carina !

Hi Lukas!

I'm sorry
I forgot to write that also this post is superb!

Yes,
I think that the first specimen is a male of Chrysura radians,
whereas the second is a female of Chrysis inaequalis.

Ciao!
