Paolo!
This specimen come from Philippines, Bataan province, Moron vicinity, april 2018. After Your latest revision of Trichrysis from China I recgonize it as Trichrisis luzonica (or formosana maybe) . Could You confirm my assumption?

Hi Jacek!

you're right.
These two species are very similar.

Based on your pictures, I would say Trichrysis formosana for TFC without upward branches directed to ocellar area (I cannot see them)
and (seen in lateral view), median bridge of pit row distinctly depressed, leaving apical tooth hook-like: the median tooth in the first picture seems distinctly separated from the pit row.

Do I correctly see the images?
Paolo

Hi Paolo and thank You for Your help!

I put a better pictures with problematic carina and anal rim and now i think the same like You that this is Chrysis formosana.

Best regards

Jacek
