From Valencia (Spain)

Hello everybody. This is my first message in this forum, and I'm sure it won't be my last one.
A short introduction: I'm from Spain and I live in Madrid, so usually my shots are taken in different places of Spain, but not allways. I like to travel and use to take photos of almost anything related with nature. So without further ado I get to the point.

I'd like to identify this beatiful chrysidid I shot some time ago during a short holidays in Oliva (Valencia). It was on coastal dunes. The photo was taken at April 4th, 2017.

Regards,

Not sure, but reminds me of Chrysis rufitarsis? Nice shots of a pretty animal!

:welcome: Jose!

nice pictures!!!
Thanks

This could be a male of Chrysis berlandi Linsenmaier, of the C. rufitarsis group, but other views are need to be sure. Do you have one with the dorsal part of pronotum well visible?

Ciao
Paolo

Thanks to both of you.

I have some other pictures, but none with a really very clear view of the pronotum. I think these are the best that show that part. I hope they be useful.
