Hedychridium krajniki

Hi,
yesterday I visited a location in the Rhine-area.
At one small place of about 1qm I could see about 15 different species on Falcaria vulgaris.
One of them was Hedychridium krajniki, a small species which is quite common in
that area. It was not easy to get some pics cause there was a permanent change
between sun and clouds which was combined with a lot of upcoming wind every time
the situation changed. But I was patient and after about six hours I could leave with some pics
I want to share with you now. On the first pic H. krajniki (right) is accompanied by two
Hedychridium coriaceum. Hope you enjoy...
All the best!
Paul

:wohow: Fantastic pictures ! :ok:
Great species !
I never found it, I have 1-2 greenish "coriaceum" but not as green as here (on the pronotum).

Hi,
@ Jérôme: Thanks!
They are very small and I was happy to notice them
cause my eyes are not the best in short distances these days. :?
But: when I'm looking through the lense things change...
@ Paolo: Thanks!
6 hours can fade away very quick when there is so much traffic around.
It was a challenge for the body depending on the temperatures that day
especially for my knees...but: it was never booring!

All the best!
Paul
