Just one image of this wasp, but it is unusually clear for me! Some thin cloud just covered the sun to make good light. I don’t think this is one I have seen before, so it would be great to know the correct genus (Chrysis?) and species if possible. This wasp arrived on the same rock where last year several chrysidids used to come and find sleeping places in the late afternoon. The site is a roadside banking at c700m in a wooded and rocky south-facing hillside. Thanks for any advice!

Fantastic, thank you again Paolo. The first chrysidid I have now seen female and male of. He was on the very same individual rock that I saw the female regularly on last year!
