30.vi.2021. N Appenines (PC). Italy. Apologies for horrible photos: the wind was terrible so impossible to focus, and in full sun so impossible to avoid distracting reflections. But I’d like to know if it is possible to name this wasp. The most striking thing was the red ‘gilet’ on blue. The nearest wasp i can find among the ‘thumbnails’ on this site is Chrysis grohmani, but this appears to lack the red collar present here. Hope to try for better images tomorrow. Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks so much Paolo! Great to have another ID. I tried to get nicer images, and made some improvements, but she is fast and erratic and doesn’t stay long!
