Josef, for the body slender and the colour pattern I would say Chrysis rutilans Olivier, 1790.

May I use your photos for the Database of the Italian Chrysididae? If yes, what I have to stamp on your photos (Copyright or logo)?

Hello Gian Luca, thank you for help ID,I'm just taking photos as a hobby, I'm not an entomologist, looking for everything in the book....Of course you can use photos (need additional information?date,GPS?)..What size photos?I'm doing for the Internet 600/400/3000(72) dpi, for the forum doing less..mark Copyright Josef Dvorak..
If you need I can send large photos...Pepik

Thanks, Josef.
For the Database section I do not need any additional information, only that photos are larger, let's say at least 800px at 72dpi. I will stamp your Copyright formula on them and cite your contribution in the Acknowledgments page.

It would be interesting for everybody to read something about your macrophotographic techniques: maybe you can post some useful suggestions here.

All the best,
Gian Luca

Hi Pepik,

I would ID as male of Chrysis rutilans, but it could be a male of Chrysis insperata as well.
The main differences are based on the genital capsula and black spots on the second sternite. We cannot see them in the picture.
Linsenmaier wrote that an other difference is found in the relative lenght of the fourth and fifth antennal flagellomeres, but relative lenghts in pictures are not easy to calculate.

As usual ... beautiful pictures!

Best Regards
Paolo
