Hi forum,
On May 25th 2018 I collected this Chrysis male in my garden in the south-east of the Netherlands.
I looked at the next species which have a blue/violet collored apical rim:
- Chrysis graelsii does not match because the mesoscutum is medially not dark blue but light blue/green colored and the malar space seems too long.
- Chrysis analis has not such pointed teeth on the apical rim. Tergit 3 is quite long for C. analis.
- Chrysis marginata should have more golden-greenish tergits? I don’t have any documentation about this species.
Can anybody help me to ID this goldwasp?
