Yes, your specimen is a Chrysididae:
it's the female of Parnopes grandior (Pallas).

It has a fantastic thoracic colour. Usually Parnopes are green or greenish to blue, while your specimen is entirely red. Where did you take this picture? South of Spain?
I know a population with a similar colour in Sicily.

The picture was taken em Barcelona in the "Serralada de Marina", a small coastal mountains that are very near the sea.
This is the second Chrysidae that I get to photograph, thank you very much for the identification Paolo.
