In steppe vegetation near the (salt) lake Burdur in SW Turkey, mid June this year.

I realize this specimen may be unIDable, but I want to give at a try...

Hi Cor,

it's a male of Chrysis elegans ssp. or a similar one.
There are 2 possible subspecies in Turkey: interrogata and transcapica, and Chrysis ashabadensis. They all have the same colour, but I need to check it for a better ID.

Cheers
