Hi
last week I take pictures in the nothern part of Switzerland of a small (4 mm) green Chrysidid wasp walking on the ground. Could it be Chrysidea pumila?
Thanks and kind regards

:welcome: Rudolf!

I cannot confirm your identification, because I cannot see the most important characters on the last tergite and the punctuation on the abdomen.

However, the other similar Swiss species, Trichrysis cyanea , usually doesn't move on the ground.
Conclusion, there's a high probability that your specimen could be Chrysidea pumila (Klug).

Best Regards
Paolo

Many thanks Paolo!
I have another picture of the Chrysidea pumila(?), but I fear it also not focused enough. Trichrysis cyanea I often see in Switzerland, but it is generally longer (5-7 mm) and until now I always found it on wood.
Best regards
