Good evening everybody,

I am sending pictures of a wasp I captured on 8 June 2013 in Southern Bohemia, Czech Republic. Size 7 mm, habitat: sand dune.

Thank you for any hints.

David

Again; nice pictures!

This is a Chrysis specimen belonging to the C. bicolor species group, which I am not confident at all with - so I wont even take a guess of which particular species this is.
Important species characters in the C. bicolor species group are (from what I recall): length of gena (distance between eye margin and mandible), shape of sternal spots on sternum 2, shape and punctuation of tergum 3 in dorsal view.
