Hedychrum sp. for ID, C Spain

Not very good pictures this time but I hope enough detail can be seen. I am very interested in identifying this one. I think it is Hedychrum. Any chance of knowing the species?? Thanks in advance! :ok:

Found in the mountains of Madrid (Puerto de Canencia) on 09.08.2012. Mountain meadow with short grass by pine woods.

Hi Piluca,

nice pictures and specimen!

This one should be related to Hedychrum rufipes du Buysson.
It's a Sardinian endemism, but Linsenmaier once listed it for Spain too, without further notes. Other subspecies are known in the W-Mediterranean countries. I think that this should be a separated taxon, but a revision of this group is needed.
