Another tricky one :? Possibly a Hedychrum, found in Madrid mountains sitting on a rock by a rivulet with banks of Mentha aquatica in woodland of Pinus sylvestris. Date: 02.09.2012. Size: about 8-9 mm.

I see this type very often in Madrid mountains. Should be something common, but I am lost. Any hint or suggestion will be most appreciated ;) Thanks!! :D

Hola Piluca,

base on the general habitus and your measurement I would say Hedychrum nobile female.
Only this species, with this colour, can reach 8-9 mm.

Ciao!!
Paolo
