A bit lost with this tricky one

Found feeding in Daucus carota in coastal meadow with abundant heath in front of Isla Deva, Asturias, N Spain. Date: 18.08.2013. Thanks a lot for whatever help!!

Of course it is a male belonging to the genus Hedychrum, but it is difficult to say more :doh:

for telling me the genus for sure 8-)

That is good enough for me in the difficult ones. Getting the species is a bonus
