after a long time, I am sending images for identification. Could this be Hedychridium ardens ? Captured on 31 May 2015, Souther Bohemia, Czech republic.

Hello David,

Beautiful pictures! Yes, I'd say its a H. ardens, its far too punctured on the mesonotum to be H. cupreum and while it has punctures its still shiny, which rules out H. coriaceum.
