Hi,
a few weeks ago I found a Holopyga in the South-West of Germany,
I cannot identify. It's size was 6-7mm. Can you help me?

All the best Paul

Hallo Paul,

VG, Horst#

Hi Paul,

it can be Holopyga austrialis or H. ignicollis, but it is not clear from the pictures.
Did you collect the specimen?

Hi!

@ Horst: herzlichen Dank für den Link!

@ Paolo: sorry, but I'm collecting only by cam. But I know that sometimes it could be useful to have the animal...
I've added some other pictures I made at the same place. Unfortunately it's been very hard getting good pictures because of the strong wind, the quickness of the animals and my ten years old cam... the first two show a male of H. austrialis. Maybe this goes into the direction of the animal I wished to have determinated.
I cannot exclude H. ignicollis, but I took some pictures of animals who are probably males of H.chrysonota.

All the best Paul

Hi,

@ Paulo: Thanks for Determination! So I can fix it. In this locality H. chrysonota, H. ignicollis and H. austrialis live together. That makes it sometimes a litte difficult for me. But I try to get better pictures.
