Good evening everybody,

could this specimen belong to Hedychrum nobile ? Captured on 27 July 2016, Southern Moravia, Czech republic. Thank you for any hints.

Dear David,

I suppose that it's a small female of Hedychrum niemelai, but without the direct examination of the specimen is not possible to correctly identify this specimen.

thank you for your reply; is there any distinctive feature to be sure it is H.niemelai ? Or what sets these two species (H.nobile and H.niemelai) apart ?
