Hello forum,

I would like to know the identity of this wasp. It was infiltrating an Ancistrocerus nigricornis nest in our garden multiple times. Netherlands, Krimpen aan den IJssel, 10-v-2024

At one point while in captivity her ovipositor was extended, which seemed long and narrow, but unfortunately I was too late to record it.

Is it C. impressa?

looks good for C. impressa, but without a specimen it is very hard to say for sure
